Calcium Aluminate

Calcium aluminate are a range of materials obtained by heating calcium oxide and aluminium oxide together at high temperatures. They are encountered in the manufacture of refractories and cements. It is a suitable auxiliary material in the steel making process. It can increase the activity and fluidity of molten slag on the surface of molten steel.

Calcium aluminate is a good steel cleaner that used inside of electric furnaces and during secondary refining of ladles. ( removal of inclusion, activation of lime and antioxidation of molten steel surface). Calcium aluminate is easy to melt by fusion heat, remove the inclusion, building a suitable melted slag.
